Nope. Not even suggesting that. I live in a deeply red southern state, where big agricultural concerns carry a lot of weight. It would be fair to point out that their federally guaranteed, subsidized enterprises are in every practical sense "socialism". We also, like every other state, have several large military installations, the "pork barrel". Without regular infusions of federal dollars, all those entities would fail. Our entire state economy is propped up by government subsidies.

I'm not expecting policy changes from your blogging, just an open discussion about current events and policy.
