Has anybody ever read The Ransom of Russian Art by John McPhee? It's non-fiction (like all McPhee's work). Yeah, people are people. Some just get on with it.

My view of Russia was shaped by reading Solzhenitsyn back in the 70's. So, what-about-Russia, right?
