Buying residential property is a much different game financially than the commercial lending behind most large-scale rental properties.

We need a rent ceiling that is equal to the federal limit on how much of your gross income you can commit to MTI, or the difference should go to equity in the corporation. Tenants have a month's rent + security deposit in escrow already, why not allow them a stake in the property as well? After all, they are investors, right?
